Everything in the tier is open during the trial except DVLA licence checks, which carry a real cost per check and are therefore billed from day one at an introductory £2.95 per check. You only need a card on file if you want to run checks during the trial. When you convert, the annual check for every driver is included in the price. Intelligence and Enterprise do not free-trial because every connected vehicle carries a manufacturer data cost, so instead you can see the full product running on demo data and check which of your own vehicles qualify to connect.

No. Essentials needs no vehicle connection at all, it runs on records you already hold. Intelligence and Enterprise take data from the manufacturer's own interface, so there is nothing to fit, wire or maintain. The trade-off is that live data only works where the manufacturer offers access, which generally means newer vehicles from participating brands.

Essentials manages the fleet on records you enter. Intelligence is the same platform with the vehicles reporting for themselves: mileage, fault codes and battery state arrive without anyone typing them in, and the modelling layer on top turns that into EV transition and whole-cycle cost decisions. Your SECR reporting moves from your own records to automated figures off live mileage, and your annual licence check becomes a risk-graded schedule. You can start on Essentials and move up once you see how much of your fleet can connect.

Billing follows the vehicle count, so adding vehicles mid-cycle is charged pro rata from the day they join and removing them credits back the same way. There is no contract renegotiation for normal fleet churn and no charge for vehicles you have disposed of.

Yes. Small fleets cost about the same to support as medium ones, so there is a monthly minimum below which the per-vehicle rate stops applying. The slider above shows where that minimum takes over for your fleet size.

No. That monthly minimum is a spend floor for very small fleets, not a commitment to stay. A subscription buys one month of access, payable in advance, and it renews monthly for as long as you want it. There is no twelve-month term, no notice period and no exit fee, which is the usual shape of a fleet software contract and not the shape of this one. If Orbis stops earning its place you stop paying for it at the end of the month you have already bought.

Yes, both are in Essentials at £6.95 per vehicle per month. P11D reporting is included outright, and one DVLA licence check per driver per year is included for every driver on the fleet. What that is worth depends on how you buy licence checking today: a bare check from a check-only provider is priced in the low single pounds, while a managed service that handles consent, scheduling, escalation and the audit trail is billed at £5 to £10 per check, rates billed within our own group in this market today. Against those managed-service rates, on a fleet where drivers and vehicles run roughly one to one, the included annual check is worth about £0.42 to £0.83 per vehicle per month on its own; against a bare check-only tool it is worth less. Additional checks beyond the annual one are an introductory £2.95, and risk-graded schedules that check high-risk drivers more often come with Intelligence.
